Pat earned his Bachelor's Degree in Performing Arts and Contemporary Music from the University of Maine at Augusta. While attending UMA he studied with Bob Thompson, Berklee Adjunct Faculty guitar instructor; Tony Gaboury, Berklee Adjunct guitar instructor; Ben Street, bassist for many of today’s great Jazz musicians such as Kurt Rosenwinkel, John Schofield, Brad Mehldau; Composer and Arranger Tom Hoffman, and David Demsey, Professor of Music and coordinator of the Jazz department at William Paterson in New Jersey. University study not only gave Pat the opportunity to learn from some of the top professionals in the field of music, but it also provided him with a consummate understanding of music theory, multi-instrument arrangement, composition, and the art of recording production.

After earning his degree Pat began his career as a performing artist in the Southern Maine area. Pat contributed his artistry to many notable bands including: The Tom Snow Band, The Phil McGowan Band, The Bob Charrest Band, Sound Decision, A Cool Shade of Blue, The Rhythm Fish, The Quay’s as well as many others. In 1997 combining his love of children, performance, creativity and music Pat began touring with Pine Point Recording artist Rick Charette's Bubble Gum Band with whom he continues to perform. As a band leader of his own group The 3D Horns from 1994 to 2000, Pat earned a strong reputation for phenomenal entertainment and further took advantage of the opportunity to hone his abilities as writer and arranger for the band. More recently, incorporating his versatility and vast knowledge of music styles, Pat also began playing classical guitar for various ceremonies, private parties and corporate events. Pat is frequently featured as the artist for the award winning Clay Hill Farm in Cape Neddick, Maine.

Pat performs more than 50 ceremonies and private events a year. When he is not performing, he is teaching private guitar instruction for Buckdancer’s Choice Music Co.
